Microsoft's free anti-virus software is easy-to use and readily accessable.

A month ago I wrote about a free anti-virus from Microsoft. Shortly after that article I downloaded the software onto my personal laptop. It is currently all I am using for anti-virus protection and it is doing a great job. This anti-virus is the Microsoft Security Essential. It can be downloaded for free at Microsoft Security site.

With Essential you have the base spyware for your computer. However, if you want an easy-to-use free protection for your computer, Microsoft’s spyware is the way to go. Also Essential works in the background, so you can continuously work on your projects while the anti-virus gets the recent updates.
